Opera House Wedding

It was a cloudy, raining day, and things did not go as smoothly as Elizabeth and Eric had planned, but that didn't stop them from having a beautiful night with their friends and family. Elizabeth and Eric had their ceremony and reception at the Historic Opera house in Monticello, Florida. Elizabeth would go see plays with her grandmother as a child and as soon as she laid eyes upon the auditorium, it brought her back to those precious memories and she knew this would be where she said "I do".

Since their wedding was in an opera house, it seemed only fitting to have it decorated with opera themed drama and beauty.

Crystal Candelabras and warm gold tones made up a beautiful reception area.

Elizabeth wore a satin Maggie Sottero Gown she purchased from Vocelles Bridal Shop in Tallahassee, Florida.

The Gown is my favorite part!

Eric gave her a pearl necklace as a gift to wear on their wedding day. She paired it with pearl earrings. So classic and simple.

The bridal party and bride got ready in the back of the stage area in the auditorium.

Her father also got to see her before the ceremony. This was such a sweet moment to witness.

The ceremony was held in the auditorium on stage. An antique chandelier hanging from above cast beautiful shadows on the ceiling.

Elizabeth is so lucky, Eric loves dipping her! This deserves a stage!

After the ceremony, there was cake....

And getting low!

....including the dougie...my favorite!

All in all, Elizabeth and Eric had a loving family and wonderful friends to be there for them on their wedding day. No amount of rain could stop that.

One last dip, to remember the end of their wedding day!
